Who killed Rollie Bands? Rapper shot dead after daring enemies to 'pull up' at his crib
Rapper Rollie Bands was shot and killed over the weekend after he shared a message on his Instagram posting a challenge to his enemies. The Tampa native dared his opposition to come and meet him adding that a lot of folks knew where he lived. According to reports, the rapper was gunned down outside his apartment minutes later.
Speaking of rappers getting shot and killed, artist VNZA was murdered in Missouri back in June 2021. Brooklyn rapper Supa Gates too faced a similar fate after he was shot multiple times at St John’s Place near Troy Avenue in Crown Heights in April 2021. Chicago rapper KTS Dre too made the headlines after he was shot 64 times on his head and other parts of his body in July 2021. Bay Area rapper Mike Darole was another hip-hop artist who was fatally shot during an attempted robbery in May 2021.

Who killed Rollie Bands?
Rollie Bands was a hip-hop artist based out of Tampa. He enjoyed close to 5K followers on Instagram and usually shared about his professional journey on the photo-sharing social media. He was best known for his songs like ‘Struggle’, ‘Reminiscin’, and ‘Close Ties’. Speaking of his death, Rollie Bands on Instagram wrote, “A lot of these [N-word] know where I live at fr. I sleep in peace. If a [N-word] want smoke I’m at my crib in 5 mins.”
According to reports, the upcoming hip-hop artist was shot and killed outside his apartment complex. According to Vlad TV, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a man being shot in the IQ apartment complex. It is reported that the shooter apparently left the complex before the cops arrived at the scene. Rollie Bands was rushed to the hospital with a gun wound but he, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries. The shooter is yet to be identified. No arrests have been made in the case, so far.

Social media users were left stunned over how Rollie Bands was killed. “A real role model to kids on how not to throw your life away because you are trying to appear cool on social media”, said one user as another posted, “That Rollie Bands s**t so sad man Smfh.” One user stated, “It’s like when people beefing on social media and they be like “where you at?” And they send them their real address, why would yu let someone get the advantage on you like that? Crazy.”
The next one shared, “Damn when keeping it real goes wrong foreal” as, another tweeted, “If I would say a thing like this..I would probably set a trap for my ops to come fall in…he posted in 5 minutes got smoked in 3.5 minutes smh.” Meanwhile, one said, “It’s crazy this happened from a post but 69 still out there chillin.” And, one concluded, “I hate this part of our culture. Damn. Gotta make being old cool. It’s cool to retire and get all the money you’ve saved and invested. It’s cool to leave your children and grandkids hundreds of thousands of dollars in life insurance money. Streets ain’t it.”
