Pink Floyd rocker Roger Waters calls Joe Biden a 'f***ing slimeball' who can't beat Trump: 'He has no appeal'

'This is a man who has failed at fucking everything in his life except becoming the biggest … tyrant and mass murderer and mass destroyer of everything' said Waters for Donald Trump

Joe Biden continues to receive backlash from supporters of his own party as we approach the presidential election in November. During an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Roger Waters of the rock band Pink Floyd declared the Democrat Party's presumptive nominee a "f---ing slimeball," adding that he “can’t imagine Biden beating Trump in an election."

According to Waters, he is still “on the fence” about encouraging Democrats to fully rally behind the former vice president. However, he told the magazine he is “so flabbergasted and gobsmacked by the way the Democratic National Committee has railroaded Bernie [Sanders]… again.”

“And has put in place a candidate — I can’t imagine Biden beating Trump in an election,” Waters admitted. “Biden is such a fucking slimeball, he’s so weak, and has no appeal to anybody,” the “Another Brick in the Wall” the rock legend continued. “Trump, at least, is a snake oil salesman, he does tricks. He does them really badly, but people don’t care.”

Waters fervently supported Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, until he dropped out of the race and endorsed Biden. Nonetheless, the rocker admitted he is “still staggering under the weight of them having rejected the only candidate who represented the people of America.”

“I obviously don’t know where I stand on that lesser of two evils question,” Waters explained, casting doubts on Biden’s ability to lead the country. “I’m not sure the path to a new America that is not ruled by the current ruling class — by money, plutocracy, and capitalist society — will be made any easier with Biden as president,” he said.

In early April, the 'Another Brick in the Wall' hitmaker expressed his frustration after Sanders dropped out of the race. “Well, so now there’s nobody to vote for," he told his close to 354k Twitter followers. That said, Waters is still a vocal critic of the president.

During a Q&A session in New York in February, he called Trump a “tyrant and mass murderer."

“This is a man who has failed at fucking everything in his life except becoming the biggest … tyrant and mass murderer and mass destroyer of everything that any of us might love or cherish in the whole [world], only because he has the power,” he asserted. “Unfortunately, he has his finger on the button on it, and he’s right. In ‘Pigs,’ when we put up that he has a bigger button and it works, it does. And it’s working all over the world, murdering brown people for profit,” he continued, before saying Sanders was the “only candidate who can possibly win against Donald Trump.”

Waters himself faced a backlash from fans after he brought his anti-Trump message during his 2017 tour. Following a concert in Kansas, the rocker took to Facebook to thank the audience, but several angry concertgoers slammed him for the political nature of the show. “You are a fake. And I never thought I would turn my back on Pink Floyd. You are a disappointment to those of us who truly hate the NWO," one wrote.

“Maybe the crowd was amazing but you sucked,” another added. “You were disgusting and you are oh so proud, aren’t you? Anti-God, anti-Trump. Satanic, it was. Disgusting!”

“I loved the music and the show was fantastic but your hatred and disrespect for President Trump were unnecessary,” a third chimed in. “I paid to listen to the music, not your political views," they added.
