'Riverdale': When will Season 4 Episode 17 'Chapter Seventy-Four: Wicked Little Town' air?
Here we are, left hanging after 'Riverdale' reveals the mystery behind the fake death of Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse). Where will the narrative go now? We know that Jane Dallas Brown was Donna Sweett's grandmother and she was a victim of Francis DuPont's kleptomania and murderous ways as well. Donna was out for revenge and ran an elaborate operation to get her hands on the Baxter Brothers-turned-Tracy True contract.
While Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart) had asked Donna to "play nice" for now on and warned her that she's being watched, we are waiting to see what more secrets are to be uncovered. Unfortunately, we have to wait as 'Riverdale' Season 4 Episode 17 'Chapter Seventy-Four: Wicked Little Town' will air on April 15, 2020, at 8 pm EST on The CW. After the core four - Archie Andrews (KJ Apa), Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes), Jughead and Betty - decide to hopefully have a great senior year making sure all of them graduate, we're all set for this season's musical episode.
The synopsis of the episode reads, "When Mr. Honey forbids Kevin from performing a musical number from Hedwig and the Angry Inch, he and the gang rally against their principal - by each performing a number from Hedwig, turning the Variety Show into a full-fledged musical." Yes, it is a month-long hiatus, but a musical episode may be worth the wait.
While they put on stage makeup and take over Riverdale High in musical spirit, we wonder where the storyline goes from here onward. If you haven't watched the promo yet, here is Kevin Keller (Casey Cott) standing up for his generation.
Not to mention, we know that Skeet Ulrich who plays FP Jones, Jughead's father and Marisol Nichol who plays Hermione Lodge, Veronica's mother, is set to leave the series by the end of Season 4. How does the show plan on moving forward without their characters? They are already pretty intense characters with the way they have affected the storyline since Season 1 and it will be interesting to see how their exit is written into the narrative.
