Netflix's 'Obsession' Ending Explained: Is William really out of Anna's life?
'Don't be uncomfortable about it'
It is no secret that the Netflix show did not hold back while showing the kinkiest love scenes between the main leads. While speaking with Hello! Magazine, Richard Armitage opened up about everything regarding the filming of Netflix's 'Obsession'. From filming the hot scenes to working with intimacy coordinators. And while being asked whether it was liberating to film the intimate scenes while being naked, Armitage confirmed that it was.
"It really was. My attitude is 'It's the body, it's the human body'. Just be a little bit laissez-faire about it. If you are uncomfortable with it, then it's your problem. Don't be uncomfortable about it."
Armitage's reply shows that there was no CGI or any kind of graphics or gimmicks involved in making the intimate scenes of 'Obsession'. In 'Obsession', William and Anna have several wild adventures in Anna's private flat. And these are the raunchy sex scenes that make up most part of the series. And for almost all of the sex scenes in the show, the lead actor was naked. This has become a hot topic on the internet right now, particularly regarding Armitage's privates.
Richard Armitage thanks his intimacy coordinator
Armitage further went on to thank his intimacy coordinator Adelaide Waldrop for making the hectic process easier. Armitage added that Waldrop is the "onset police" who assisted the directors Glenn and Lisa in making the sex scenes of the series more seamless. And Waldrop, instead of just being the intimacy coordinator, was also a "part director, part psychologist and part choreographer". Armitage compared the past and present of treating an intimate scene and added that treating an intimate scene like a fight scene is the right way to approach it. Armitage added that "it needs to be coordinated and it needs to be arranged" as it is the only way to achieve the intended feeling.
All four episodes of 'Obsession' are streaming exclusively on Netflix.
