'Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' star Whitney Rose was hoping to join the ranks of 'Real Housewives of orange County' alum Meghan King, or 'Sutton Stracke of 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hill's fame with her sleuthing skills after the news of her co-star Jen Shah's arrest on account of money laundering. Unfortunately for Whitney, instead of being impressed by her extensive knowledge on money laundering and shady business dealings fans found it to be 'suspicious' and 'weird'.

The recently aired super-sized episode of 'RHOSLC' featured Jen and her assistant Stuart being charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and also a conspiracy to commit money. While on their way for a vacation to Vail, Jen suddenly got off their bus citing her husband Sharrief's ill-health, and fled the venue. Just moments later homeland security, FBI, and NYPD arrived at the filming location and began questioning Jen's whereabouts. The ladies- Lisa Barlow, Jennie Nguyen, Heather Gay and Whitney began speculating on why the authorities were so concerned about Jen. Later, Whitney came across the news report that Jen was arrested and being charged for money laundering. While her co-stars were completely shell-shocked and trying to wrap their heads around the huge news, Whitney began speculating on how Jen managed to launder the money.

In her confessional, Whitney explained how Jen's extravagant lifestyle made no sense to her. Based on the little information from the news report, Whitney concluded that Jen was laundering money from the elderly and disabled. She also pointed out how the people who are involved in such shady things usually use cash to make their payments and began to connect the dots. Whitney went all Nancy Drew and explained how a person can invest their money into a start-up and claim tax exemption, and Jen reportedly has invested in several startups according to Whitney. The housewife also declared that she always thought Jen's business was 'shady' and 'unsavory'.

After watching Whitney's in-depth discourse on how to dispose off money after laundering money and how to evade taxes, fans began wondering about how the housewife had such detailed knowledge about it and also about Jen's businesses. Several fans took to Twitter to cast their suspicions on Whitney. A fan tweeted, "Whitney is weird asf how does she know all those details??? No article I’ve read explained in this detail, she’s hella creepy and nosy as heck! #RHOSLC." Another fan wrote, "It is odd that Whitney knew so much about how Jen's business worked, on the day they were all "surprised" by Jen's arrest! #RHOSLC #RealHousewivesofSaltLakeCity #JenShah." "Yes Andy I was too amazed by Whitney’s knowledge of fraud it was very suspicious #RHOSLC," added a fan.

"I hope Whitney and her husband’s finances are 1000% squeaky clean because she was rather knowledgeable about money laundering. She was piecing shit together faster than the feds and the article had just came out #RHOSLC," expressed a fan. "Why does Whitney know all this stuff money laundering and tax evasion?? Experience much...... #RHOSLC," commented a fan.
