'RHOSLC' Season 4 finale: Jen Shah squashes Heather Gay's allegations of giving her black eye in explosive clap back
BRYAN, TEXAS: In 'Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' Season 4 finale,Heather Gay accused Jen Shah of giving her a black eye. However, Shah, who is currently in federal prison, clapped back at Heather's accusations.
Shah called Heather, Bravo and Andy Cohen out for allegedly lying about a black eye. Heather ended up with a black eye on the left side of her face following a late-night party with castmates Shah and Meredith Marks in San Diego during season 3.
At the time, it was unclear exactly how Heather was injured as Bravo cameras weren't rolling at the time and there was no footage available of the incident.
Heather's black eye accusation came during one of the franchise's most dramatic scenes yet when Bravo star and costars Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks and Whitney Rose confronted Monica Garcia for her alleged involvement in the Instagram troll account Reality Von Tease.
However, soon after the 'RHOSLC' season 4 finale concluded, Shah took to her Instagram and claimed that she didn't punch Heather. Shah wrote, "BRAVO, if I punched Heather in her eye, you guys would have footage to prove it."
Bravo alum added, "It's clear the show can't live without me since I was brought up at the beginning, middle and end of season 4. She then revealed why she turned down Bravo show host Andy Cohen's interview invitation."
Shah revealed, "Andy is still butt hurt that I turned down his 1:1 interview. Why would you sit down with someone who 'gave' another cast member a black eye? Next story."
Jen Shah receives backlash for slamming Andy Cohen and Heather Gay
Jen Shah appeared through Season 3 of 'RHOSCL' until she was arrested for conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
The major plot twist of the 'RHOSLC' Season 4 finale was Heather Gay's revelation about Shah giving her a black eye. Meanwhile, Shah didn't hold back and clapped back at Bravo producer Andy Cohen and Heather for continuously using her name despite her exit from the show.
However, the social media users took to the comment section of the fan account who reshared Shah's Instagram Story and slammed the Bravo alum for bashing Heather and noted that no one would believe her claims.
A social media user wrote, "I think it was a drunken accident and she asked Heather not to tell as she hadn’t been convicted yet and didn’t want any extra negativity towards her prior to."
Another person added, "Lmao jen has so much audacity calling Andy out. He gave her a job and a platform and this chick was out there committing fraud phew baby."

Heather Gay finds trouble in setting boundaries with Jen Shah
Although Jen Shah would surely not return for 'RHOSLC' anytime soon, she had been addressed by the Bravo co-stars multiple times in Season 4.
During the premiere of the latest season, Mary Cosby asked Heather Gay how she was doing without her former BFF.
Heather admitted, "I'm fine, surprisingly," adding that she had trouble setting boundaries with Shah. The reality star noted, "I felt too deep in it like if I stopped for one second I couldn’t catch my breath. Because she was a lot."
However, after she was asked how she felt now that Shah was in prison, Heather replied, "I feel like a weight is lifted." In a confessional, Heather admitted that she felt like she couldn't be "honest" with Shah in the days before her sentencing.
Heather claimed, "With everything she had going on in her life, the stakes were way too high." Heather added, "It was not a time to talk about our friendship and work on our boundaries. But now that she’s in prison, I feel like I can just shut the door on it and move on."
Why did Jen Shah skip the 'RHOSLC' Season 3 reunion?
After Jen Shah pleaded guilty to fraud and received a 6.5-year prison sentence in 2022, Bravo show host Andy Cohen was hoping to sit with the 'RHOSLC' alum to have an in-depth conversation about her scandal.
However, Shah announced on Instagram that she would not be participating in the interview due to Bravo's refusal to "remove contractual provisions" that would allow them to "legally make misrepresentations" of her story.
Meanwhile, During a podcast interview, Andy reflected on Shah's accusation and said, "She released a statement that was not really true about what our negotiations were." Andy added, "What she wanted was, I believe, for us to do a series."
Andy Slammed Shah and claimed, "She wouldn’t do the interview unless we did a series leading up to her going to jail and following her, which we kinda felt like we had seen."
