After getting slammed for her inauthentic and boring personality in her debut season of 'Real Housewives of Potomac', Dr. Wendy Osefo decided to reinvent herself and showcase her true and authentic self to the world. This led to the housewife going under the knife and getting some work done to her body for her sophomore season on 'RHOP'. Wendy also decided to reinvent her brand by adding entrepreneurship to it.

The housewife decided to launch a luxury home-essentials brand called Onyi Home Essentials. On the show fans watched Wendy trying to learn the ropes of entrepreneurship and running a business. She turned to her co-star Karen Huger aka the grand dame for mentorship. Karen was thrilled to help Wendy navigate the world of home-essentials business. Wendy revealed to Karen that she wanted to launch candles as the first product of her brand and sought Karen's help with it. The Grand Dame guided Wendy with coming up with a business plan and setting up a budget, etc. But before Wendy could even launch her candle, Karen surprised everybody by announcing that she was launching her own line of candles. Karen made it very clear that she wasn't trying to compete with Wendy or trying to upstage her co-star's business attempts by pointing out one major difference in their candles- the wicks.

Karen explained that her line of candles would have three wicks while Wendy's has only one wick. So the grand dame justified by sharing how both their candles were very different and catered to different customers. The two ladies kept it very civil on the show and didn't get into any cat-fights or screaming matches as typically done by the ladies on 'Real Housewives'. But the topic of candles inevitably popped up during the show's reunion. The reunion's host- Andy Cohen pointed out how Karen's announcement of her candles came off a bit 'shady' since she never mentioned anything about them to Wendy before.

Karen once again brought up the number of wicks to clear the air and declare that she wasn't competing with Wendy. She also added that it was a billion-dollar industry and there was enough table for everybody to sell their candles without trying to sabotage anybody. Wendy who has been a quiet spectator until now finally decided to speak up. The housewife then made a big announcement of her brand adding 5 and 7 wick candles to their collection!
