'Real Housewives of Potomac': Is Karen on Monique's side instead of Candiace despite claiming to be 'neutral'?

Fans weren't pleased with Karen's belief that Candiace too was at fault for throwing a glass at Monique during the fight in self-defense

As the fight between housewives Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard Bassett kept escalating, the other housewives had no choice but to pick sides. While most housewives picked Candiace's side, Karen Huger refused to side with either of them and insisted on maintaining a "neutral" stance.

Karen felt that both the ladies were in the wrong. She didn't appreciate Monique laying hands on Candiace during the fight but never shared why she wasn't ready to take Candiace's side despite disagreeing with Monique's behavior. The grand dame finally revealed it on the latest episode of 'RHOP'.

After Ashley Darby told Candiace that she wrote a statement in support of Monique's lawsuit against Candiace, the housewives rushed to support Candiace. They all felt sorry for her, except Karen.

Karen stated that both ladies were at fault for their behavior, and later in her confessional revealed why she felt that way. She explained that Candiace revealed that she released a glass at Monique in self-defense during the fight, in her charge sheet. Karen felt that Candiace should have told this to all the ladies since even she resorted to violence.

Unfortunately for Karen, fans didn't seem to agree with her point of view. Fans pointed out how Candiace only threw the glass after Monique began dragging her across the room by her weave. So they felt that Candiace didn't owe any explanation, but instead, Karen seems to be firmly on Monique's side.

A fan tweeted, "First off, Candiace throwing the glass in her face was justified because her damn head was pulled over the table lol... Karen please #RHOP." Another fan wrote, "Karen acting like Candiace picked up the glass first at Monique to antagonize and gaslight her...no she had the glass at her after she was grabbed...she did nothing wrong in my eyes! #RHOP."

Another fan commented, "Y’all know I love Karen. & I honestly I don’t mind Monique at all. But Karen is clearly being brainwashed by Monique. Monique is on a war path and has targeted Candiace. To say that her attack was warranted because Candiace “released a glass” to defend herself?! GTFOH #RHOP."

"So Karen is saying that Candace admitted to releasing a glass in self-defense? So how would that have made her wrong in order to explain why she’s being neutral since two wrongs don’t make a right? I’m confused #RHOP," wondered a fan. "@KARENHUGER the "release" is not a revalation. Who could hold a glass when being attacked? Not a good look Karen. @BravoTV #rhop," expressed a fan.
