'Real Housewives of New York City': Ramona and Elyse are fighting, fans ask 'did they magically fall apart?'

'RHONY' fans are puzzled about the reason behind Ramona's disdain towards Elyse and demand that Elyse be made into housewife

Things haven't been great between Elyse Slaine and Ramona Singer on 'Real Housewives of New York City'. The former best friends had a huge fight after Ramona declared that she had 50 close friends, and Elyse called her out for being delusional about having such a large group of close friends. Ramona hadn't spoken to her former friend in a long time. When Leah McSweeney told Ramona about a party she was throwing, Ramona's first suggestion was to not to invite Elyse.

Leah, however, went ahead and invited Elyse and also didn't appreciate the fact that Ramona was weighing in on who she could and couldn't invite for a party. On the day of the party, everybody seemed to be having fun. Ramona walked in fashionably late and was greeted by Leah. The OG housewife insisted on being introduced to Leah's mother, Bunny. Ramona and Bunny were having a nice conversation about their role in Leah's life when Elyse walked there and stood next to them. 

Ramona pretended like she couldn't see Elyse. When Elyse tried greeting her, the housewife turned away saying she didn't know her. Elyse began following Ramona, and in the heat of the moment grabbed Ramona's arm and tried getting the housewife's attention, but failed. Ramona quickly stormed out of the party, as Elyse called out Ramona for being an extremely selfish and narcissist person.

After watching the way Elyse stood up to Ramona, fans were impressed with her and began demanding that Elyse get an apple next season. A fan tweeted, "I sure hope Elyse comes back w an apple next year. We need someone who can stand up to Ramona. #RHONY."

Another fan wrote, "Now that Ramona fully hates Elyse, I feel like they have to add her to the cast full time. #RHONY."

Several fans also began wondering what exactly happened between the ladies that led Ramona to treat Elyse like her arch-enemy. A fan commented, "We need a post season recap of what happened with Elyse and Ramona@BravoTV #rhony."

Another fan echoed similar thoughts with, "So what happened to Ramona’s relationship w/Elyse? It magically fell apart AFTER her bday so Ramona could say she has 50 close gfs? Did Elyse contribute to the $100 bday requirement so Ramona could buy herself a designer handbag? If she did, did she refund the $$?"
