Dolores has been fond of animals and seeing them hurt is what breaks her the most. Therefore, the star tries her best to help animals in every possible way.
'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' star recently uploaded a picture of 5 years, 6 months, and 22 days old dog named Pinto. The star claims that her heart breaks to see 5-year-old golden beauty in the shelter and not being adopted by anyone. Furthermore, Paulie Connell's girlfriend unveils why she is not opting to adopt Pinto.

Dolores Catania's heart breaks as she is not able to help Pinto
Dolores posted a photo of a 5-year-old pitbull on her feed. She introduced him to the fans saying, "This is Pinto, my heart is broken for him." Dolores explained that Pinto needs to find a home. However, Dolores could not take him in at the moment. She explained the reason, "5 years in the shelter but my house is too full to take him." The star then asked the fans, "Please help save this poor little man." Pinto is the longest resident of the town of Hempstead Animal Shelter in Wantagh, NY. He was described as, "6 years old, house and crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and is up to date with all vaccinations." The star also shared a video of Pinto in her story where all the qualities of Pinto are described in detail. He is a "nervous boy who needs a little time to warm up to people. He should be in a home with no small kids and no cats." Therefore, Pinto is looking for a "1-2 person adult-only family due to his nervousness." 'RHONJ' star Dolores and her daughter, Gabby, love animals. Gabby has studied Pre-veterinary medicine and Animal Bioscience at the University of Delaware with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. Therefore, Dolores' daughter has been an animal lover and has always filled the house with visitors like chinchillas, guinea pigs, numerous dogs, ferrets, birds, and gerbils. Apart from providing shelter to the animals, Dolores and her daughter also rescue dogs. The mother and daughter duo reportedly visit their neighborhood and pull strays off the street so that they can find their forever home. "Nothing makes me more fulfilled than giving an animal a better quality of life," said Dolores as per People.
