'RHONJ': Fans mock Jennifer Aydin's 'Pinocchio nose', say it was 'better before'

Several fans took to Twitter to mock Jennifer's new nose, while others pointed out that she never needed a nose job in the first place

It is pretty safe to say that the season 12 premiere episode of 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' was pretty rough on Jennifer Aydin. From having her husband Bill Aydin's affair with another woman being exposed to her new nose becoming the subject of mockery not just amongst her co-stars but also on the internet, the housewife was certainly put through the wringer.

On the recently aired premiere episode of 'RHONJ', Jennifer explained that she had always been a bit insecure about her nose. Even though her husband is a plastic surgeon, she didn't want to get operated on by him because he labeled her as the "worst patient" and declared that he would never perform any procedure on her after she got liposuction from him. So while she was attending her nephew's Christening ceremony in Turkey, Jennifer decided to get her nose job done there by a plastic surgeon she found on Instagram. Even though Jen seemed happy with her decision, fans sadly didn't share the same feeling about her new nose.

Several fans took to Twitter to mock Jennifer's new nose, while others pointed out that she never needed a nose job in the first place. A fan tweeted, "Jennifer’s nose was better before #RHONJ." Another fan wrote, "#RHONJ yeah i like jennifer’s nose before better but yeah i dont get it." "Why does everyone get this ski slope nose? IT DOESN'T LOOK GOOD! Jennifer didn't need a nose job! When will she stop! #RHONJ," questioned a fan.

Another fan shared, "I’m sorry, but am I the only one that didn’t notice anything wrong with Jennifer’s original nose? This new one is terrible!!! #RHONJ." "Jennifer literally has a Pinocchio nose #RHONJ. How fitting.," joked a fan. "Jennifer nose DOES look terrible, she shoulda let her husband do it. #RHONJ," expressed a fan.

It looks like Jennifer was anticipating the harsh feedback on her new nose, as she addressed it on her Instagram. She reassured her fans that her nose had "settled in nicely and is looking better every day." She shared, "I’ve always been very open about my plastic surgery. The day this picture was taken was June 19th(Teresa’s pool party) , 4 weeks after my surgery. I went to Turkey for my nephews Christening and while there, I got a rhinoplasty with chin implant and facial lipo with @drmustafaaliyanik. I’m totally aware of the criticism some of you may have after you see my face tonight. I had them too." 

"Keep in mind that it was exactly 4 weeks after the date of my surgery. My face was still swollen and numb and it was hard to move, speak or smile. My surgery was already planned from way before I got the news of when filming was to start. And even though I was nervous on some of the backlash that may happen and I had no idea how whack I would look on camera, I remembered that I signed up to show my life. All aspects of it. So instead of healing before I filmed, I healed while I filmed( in more ways than 1) , and let you all watch. I wasn’t totally happy with my chin from day one, And I was irritated that I listened to the recommendation of the doctor. Bill told me to give it time. Time is your best friend with any type of plastic surgery. I am happy to say that my nose has settled in nicely and is looking better every day," she added.
