‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’: Melissa is called out by Jennifer for her 'fake storylines' and fans love it

'RHONJ' fans were thrilled to see Jennifer Aydin finally asking what they have been thinking about for years

The Season 10 reunion of ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ is serving us all kinds of drama and we can all collectively thank Jennifer Aydin for it. For years, the audience has been subject to Melissa Gorga and her “fake storylines”. This season we saw Melissa and her husband Joe Gorga considering having another baby. The couple went as far as going to the doctor to get themselves tested to see if they can have one. Eventually, by the end of the season, we see the couple come to the conclusion that having a baby might not be the best thing for them and scrap the plan.
 
Many fans felt that her baby storyline was “fake” and just for the show. We saw the housewife’s fake plotlines in previous seasons too, for instance in one of the earlier seasons, we see her looking for her long-lost sister, which came to an abrupt end. What makes it different this time is that Jennifer finally confronted Melissa about it and Andy Cohen too chimed in by picking a fan question for Melissa questioning her “fake storylines”.

Fans were thrilled to see Jennifer finally asking what they have been thinking about for years. A fan tweeted, “@JenniferAydin Oh my god!!!!! finally thank you so much for calling out Melissa and these weird fake storylines that never go anywhere… #RHONJ #RHONJReunion.” Another fan wrote, “God bless the woman who asked Melissa about her fake storylines. You the real MVP. Call her fake ass out. Her 15 min of riding the “I’m Teresa’s sister in law” train is over, she can’t stand on her own. She’s boring! #RHONJ.”

Fans couldn’t stop praising and thanking Jennifer for calling out Melissa. A fan shared, “I'm so happy that Melissa is getting called out for her fake storylines by @JenniferAydin and the viewers! #rhonj.” Another fan echoed similar thoughts with, “Ten minutes in and the #RHONJ reunion is delivering! Love or hate Jennifer, she is saying what we’re all thinking about melissa’s fake baby storyline 🤷🏼‍♀️#rhonjreunion.” “Love that this was brought up!  Melissa has had fake storylines for years.  #RHONJ,” expressed another fan.
