‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’: Fans call out Jennifer for calling Jackie's children's birthday party 'underwhelming' because it was simple

'RHONJ' fans were shocked to hear housewife Jennifer Aydin's comments about her fellow housewife Jackie Goldschenider and the birthday party she hosted for her children.

Amongst the ‘Real Housewives’ franchise birthday parties are an extravagant affair to show off one’s wealth and status, and these parties are not just limited to the adults but include their children as well. Many housewives have gone above and beyond to ring in their child's birthday party in the most “over-the-top” manner. We are not saying that there’s something wrong about it, but we were pleasantly surprised when we saw one of the RHONJ housewives throw a simple yet fun birthday party for her children.

Jackie Goldschneider decided to throw a fun-filled basketball and pizza party for her twin boys, on the latest episode of RHONJ. She had all the kids come over to her place and they had a fun match of basketball in her backyard, followed by some yummy pizza. Jackie invited Melissa Gorga and Jennifer Aydin’s children too to the party. The children seemed to have a lot of fun and enjoyed themselves thoroughly, however one person wasn’t particularly feeling the party. Jennifer remarked that the party was "underwhelming" when she saw it. She was left feeling disappointed at how simple the party was, and compared to a party she threw for her daughter, which had a lot of fun activities.

In her green room interview, Jennifer brings out her competitive side when she says that if Jackie and she were to throw a party on the same day, hers would be more "popular" than Jackie’s. To say that fans weren’t impressed with Jennifer’s statements would be an understatement. Several fans took to their social media to call out the housewife for criticizing a kid's birthday party of all things.

A fan tweeted, “Jennifer made fun the kids birthday, what the hell kind of lame crap is this .#rhonj”. Another fan wrote, “Why is Jennifer making these kids birthday parties into a competition? Just enjoy yourself and be happy, the kids are having fun. It doesn’t take a lot to make young boys happy when it comes to a birthday party #RHONJ”. “Did it ever occur to Jennifer that maybe that’s what Jackie’s kid’s wanted to do for their birthday? #RHONJ”.

While fans criticized Jennifer for her comments, they were full of praises for Jackie for throwing a “simple” and “low-key” birthday party which the children actually enjoyed rather than spending tons of money for nothing. A fan commented, “I like how Jackie keeps it simple instead of spending a lot of money for her children’s birthdays. Jennifer needs to humble herself a little bit #RHONJ”. Another fan shared, “I actually really like the party @JGSchneid threw for her kid. Growing up my family was broke and I had low key birthday parties and they were the best. It’s very intimate and cozy. And all kids wants is sun, pizza, candy and party favors! Great job Jackie! #RHONJ”.
