MIAMI, FLORIDA: On the Wednesday, November 22 episode of 'The Real Housewives of Miami', the women were on their way to Larsa Pippen's charity basketball game as part of her work with the Make a Wish Foundation when Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton clashed with Adriana de Moura over the subject of farting.

The incident sparked the "fartgate" controversy, and fans of the show took to social media to remind Adriana that some things are meant to be personal.

As seen during the episode, Adriana advised the passengers on the sprinter van that she was a little "flatulent" before they started their journey to the Kaseya Center for the game.

"I'll just warn everybody, I ate corn, and I'm a little flatulent today," said Adriana before the group paused for a toilet break. Subsequently, Marysol and Alexia, who happened to be celebrating her birthday, discussed Adriana's admission.

"She says she's flatulent. We're in a lot of trouble," stated Marysol to Alexia, who seemed perplexed by the phrase. Alexia expressed her own reservations after a brief explanation, saying, "Oh God, I don't want to smell her."

Adriana, who was angry by the "hate" she was receiving from her adversaries, overheard what the duo thought was a brief kiki behind toilet doors.

"Some things never change," remarked Adriana, adding, "I heard everything."

The back-and-forth led Adriana to request removal from Marysol's basketball team in response to the "hateful" comments.

"Don't announce flatulence when we're sitting in a bus together," said Marysol, adding, "We're all stuck in this bus with you." "Maybe we're stuck with you. The hater. That haters," responded Adriana.

Then, Marysol begged Adriana not to spoil Alexia's birthday by bringing up the subject of her farting again.

As if that wasn't strange enough, the conversation moved on to other toilet habits, with Alexia confessing that she urinates and defecates alongside her husband, Todd Nepola.

"Some people find it, like, really weird. But I think a lot of people want to pee and s**t together," revealed the 'RHOM' star.

The history of Housewives shows that sprinter rides are always chaotic, and this one is no exception. The quarrel only stopped for a brief period of time before Alexia picked it back up, claiming that Adriana's hurtful remarks about her family were the reason Todd was noticeably missing from her "New Horizons" party.

Alexia said, "Somebody specific has talked a lot s**t about our family and has bashed our family," which made Adriana wonder who Todd was upset with.

"With you, actually," replied Alexia.

Adriana remarked that before leaving Todd's house, she apologized to him, adding that the latter told her that she needed to focus on their marriage, to which Adriana responded, "That's probably a smart thing."

When Adriana said that Todd answered with "you hit it on the nose"—what she dubbed a "Todd expression"—Alexia became enraged, claiming that her 'RHOM' castmate is unaware of her husband's emotions.

Lisa Hochstein, who nodded in agreement before doubling down in a confessional, backed up Adriana's assertions. She described the ludicrous statements as "one full of gas and one full of s**t."

Marysol returned to the arena, this time to defend Todd, further enraging Adriana, who orders Marysol to "shut the f**k up." Things didn't improve between the two, with insults flying between Marysol, Adriana, and Alexia until the group advised the three to calm down.

The shadiness continued outside the arena as the charity basketball game concluded with a win for Alexia's team and more bitter emotions from Adriana, who vowed she wanted nothing to do with the birthday girl.

After the episode aired, fans of the show took to social media, especially X (formerly Twitter), to slam the whole "fartgate" mess.

One wrote, "Can we take a second to recognize that this entire sprinter van mess started bc Adriana said she had to fart a lot and then caught Marysol talking shit about her to Alexia? The way #rhom delivers drama at every level whose side are on here?"

Another chimed in, "All I keep thinking is how is Adriana able to hold her farts through all this yelling and arguing."

A person commented, "Arguing about Adriana having the farts is the dumbest shit ever what is happening right now," while someone else, "Adriana really got mad they talked about her farts?"

A user even noted, "Adriana, nobody wants to smell your farts. That’s not personal," as one more sighed, "An entire Sprinter Van feud started because Alexia & Marysol were talking about Adriana's flatulence. You can't make this s**t up."

Why does Adriana de Moura from 'RHOM' look so different?

According to some fans, Adriana de Moura's appearance has changed a lot since Season 3 of 'RHOM'. In a January 2022 broadcast of 'Watch What Happens Live' with Andy Cohen, the titular host asked, "You look so different. What have you done since we last saw you?"

The 'RHOM' star responded, "Blonde hair. That's pretty much it." "Is that true?" remarked Andy, clearly astonished, asking, "Fillers?"

"Not really," explained Adriana, adding, "I do Botox, and I gained weight. I don’t believe in fillers, it makes you look like a grouper. I don’t like that."

What happened between 'RHOM's Ana Quincoces and Marysol Patton?

In a recent interview with RealityTea, Ana Quincoces revealed, "While I spent many an episode last year defending Marysol, she and I are no longer friends."

She added, "There was no dramatic fallout or any one explosive altercation; just the quiet, slow, and painful disintegration of what I believed was a true friendship and the realization that I had been duped."

"Not only did I embrace Marysol’s friendship, I made her part of my family (as many can attest). I included her in every birthday celebration, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's, Groundhog Day, you name it. If there was a meal or a celebration, Marysol was included," added Ana.

As per Ana, Marysol looked determined to return to full-time status at any cost. Her top priority was to get a weak Mama Elsa out of the hospital so she could film with her.

After all, Andy adores Elsa, and the audience adores her. But, following a catastrophic stroke and brain surgery at her senior age, taping a reality program could not have been Elsa's or her medical team's first priority.

Ana also expressed, "Who knows, perhaps some YouTube video with a bedridden Elsa will emerge debunking this statement. I think the video of a very sick Mr. Patton at this year’s reunion (which, by the way, proved nothing) exemplifies the lengths Marysol will go to appear “relevant” (the most overused word in the housewife lexicon)."

'RHOM's Alexia Nepola rejects rumors of financial difficulties

Alexia Nepola has denied reports regarding her and her husband Todd's financial troubles.

Even after hastily moving out of their 10,000-square-foot residence while filming the show, the 56-year-old stated that the couple is "doing just fine." Of course, the 'RHOM' season six trailer made it appear that they were leaving due to financial difficulties.
