'RHOM' Season 6: Lisa Hochstein faces criticism as viewers disapprove of her teaching 7 and 3-year-old children about 'cheat days'

'RHOM' fans slam Lisa Hochstein as mom of two doesn't let her children eat pizza after having ordered the food

MIAMI, FLORIDA: Lisa Hochstein gave a look into her household in the most recent episode of 'The Real Housewives of Miami.' Soon, the Bravo star was chastised when she revealed putting her kids on "cheat days."

Fans observe Lisa at home, not fully engaging with her children as she talks on the phone, expressing grievances about Lenny Hochstein to her new partner, Mounty Jody of the Canadian Cavalry.

She herself acknowledges that she is unable to devote as much attention to the kids because she is too preoccupied with their father.

It was disheartening to hear her child reply, "Yeah, we know," in the midst of the whining!

Fans expressed their criticism on X, with one person stating, "Idk if it’s almond mom Trauma but Lisa monitoring how much food the kids eat & them giving themselves a ‘cheat day’ makes me so uncomfortable."

Another individual added, "Lisa's new dude being fine that she's married and complaining about her husband constantly is weird to me. And why the hell is she taking food away from hungry kids?!" 

A user stated, "The food scene with Lisa and her kids was a little much. Kids that young shouldn’t know about cheat days."

One more user noted, "Lisa bought the kids pizza, told them they couldn't have anymore, and the (sic) started crying in the confessional about being a bad parent, girl you could've just let them eat the pizza." 

Another user asked, "Why is Lisa micromanaging her kid's food? Why order the pizza and let them eat 1-2 squares? 1 pizza isn’t going to kill them. And her daughter saying 'it’s a cheat day' isn’t cute. It’s creating an unhealthy relationship with food."

One person noted, "Is Lisa rationing the pizza because she wants the kids to eat healthy or did that Venmo request not get fulfilled and she’s trying to make the meal stretch?" 

Who is 'RHOM' Lisa Hochstein dating now?

Lisa is dating software entrepreneur Jody Glidden, whom she said she will marry in February 2023.

Jody, originally from Canada, was born and raised there, but he now considers Florida his home. He currently lives and works in Miami.

After completing high school, Jody pursued computer science before venturing into startups. He later obtained his BBA in management from the University of New Brunswick.

He subsequently completed his studies at Harvard University, where he earned a master's degree in management information systems in 2011.

Jody is enthusiastic about product, machine learning, automation, sales technology, mobile-first, social marketing and engineering, according to his LinkedIn page.

In 2012, he co-founded Introhive after years of expertise.

For four years in a row, Deloitte's 'Fast 50 and Fast 500 Awards' programs recognized the technology firm, and it was named the 'MarTech 2020 Breakthrough Award' winner for Best CRM Innovation.

In addition to his work at Introhive, which is his fifth startup, Jody is the creator and CEO of Postilize, which employs generative AI to alter how businesses grow their brand and loyal client base.

Jody has only one kid, a girl named Peyton, born in 2009. She makes several appearances on her father's Instagram, including photos of the two doing hobbies together, such as skiing.

Why did 'RHOM' stars Lisa and Lenny Hochstein separate?

After 12 years of marriage, Lenny Hochstein filed for divorce from Lisa in early May. The situation took a bitter turn when Lisa learned that her now ex-husband had been unfaithful to Katharina Mazepa.

Lenny publicly revealed his new relationship with model Katharina just a few days after the Hochsteins announced their divorce in May 2022, which resulted in accusations of adultery.

However, the surgeon staunchly maintained that he had never betrayed Lisa.

The 'RHOM' star called her estranged husband out on social media when Lenny and Mazpa announced their engagement on July 30, 2023.

The day following the announcement of the engagement, she posted on Instagram Stories, congratulating her present husband and his mistress on their engagement.
