‘Real Housewives of Orange County’: Fans annoyed as Shannon makes Vicki’s engagement all about herself
We have been a part of former OG housewife Vicki Gunvalson’s domestic life for a very long time. So, on the latest episode when we saw the 57-year-old reality star invite all the housewives (apart from Kelly Dodd and Braunwyn) to her house to announce a surprise, we were totally reeled in. When Gina pointed out the massive rock on the housewife’s finger, we immediately understood that Vicki finally got her engagement ring from her current partner, Steve Lodge.
While all the housewives were busy admiring the beautiful ring and showering the newly engaged housewife, in walks Shannon from her final divorce settlement hearing. She took barely a minute to congratulate her newly engaged friend and immediately launched into explaining the details of her divorce settlement.
The spotlight was snatched off from Vicki and put on Shannon, leaving fans feeling annoyed about the way Shannon handled the situation. Shannon started telling the housewives about a mail her ex-husband, David Beador, sent her before the hearing, telling her how proud he is of her and wishing her luck. After narrating the story, Shannon was a puddle of tears and soon the housewives had to cater to her feelings and consoling her instead of celebrating their hostess, Vicki’s engagement.
A fan tweeted, “Shannon is making vickis engagement celebration about Shannon. I’d be more annoyed if I didn’t hate Vicki #rhoc”.

Fans appeared to be tired of Shannon’s habit of making everything about herself all the time. A fan pointed, “I'm not a fan of Vicki's, but Shannon just stole someone else's moment again. #RHOC”.
