‘Real Housewives of Orange County’: Tamra confuses 'churro' for Spanish actress Charo leaving fans amused
The housewives of ‘RHOC’ are certainly fun and entertaining but they are not the sharpest knives in the drawer. These ladies are over-the-top entertaining and their shenanigans evoke a range of emotions within us. The latest episode of ‘RHOC’ saw the ladies make their way to Miami, and having a time of their life.
On their way to the club, Tamra Judge remarked that she looks hot like a “Charo”. Now, as we all were wondering what on earth is charo to which she is comparing herself to, Gina Kirschenheiter, Tamra’s fellow housewife asks her what a “Charo” is. Now, the fountain of knowledge that Tamra is goes on to explain to Gina that it’s a “cinnamon and sugar-based dessert”. Gina happily accepts her fellow cast member’s explanation. But we quickly realized that Tamra was referring to the dessert “churro”.
Fans took to their social media to correct Tamra, and explain to her the difference between “churro” and “Charo”. They pointed out to the housewife that “Charo” is a popular Spanish actress and not a dessert. A fan tweeted, “Gina: What's a Charo? Tamra: It's a cinnamon dessert. @GKirschenheiter @TamraBarney #RHOC”. Another fan commented, “What’s a charo? A cinnamon desert. Lawd these ladies are dumbasses sometimes. #RHOC”. “Omg , the white lingo of them trying to say CHURRO , it’s CHURRO not charo #RHOC”, wrote a fan. Another fan made an effort to explain the difference between “churro” and “Charo” with, “This entire hour is... Awwwk..Waarrddddd.... Also, Charo is a Spanish actress. A #churro is a delicious Spanish doughey pastry.. just sayin' (weekly annoyance that these women don't know basic words. #RHOC @BravoTV”.
