‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ episode 7 preview: Shannon sent to emergency care after Kelly Dodd hits her on the head
Season 14 of ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ just keeps getting better with each passing episode. In the previous episode, we saw Shannon Beador suggesting a trip to a wellness resort in Miraval, Arizona. She feels that it would help the ladies get away from their daily troubles and give them some headspace, especially Gina who is amid legal issues between her divorce and DUI hearings.
While all the ladies readily agree to it, Kelly Dodd hesitates because former housewife Vicki Gunvalson would be joining the trip. After a lot of coaxing from her fellow housewives, who promise to have her back she reluctantly agrees to join them.
Episode 7 ending shows the ladies enjoying their time at the wellness resort. We see them experiencing sound baths. Shannon, the brains behind the wellness retreat, appears to have had a terrible trip. In the clip we see Shannon having a bowl over her head, and she can be heard asking Kelly to hit the bowl. Kelly might have channeled in all her pent-up aggression as her blow ended up with Shannon being rushed to the emergency care.
A visibly drunk Kelly can be seen telling the other housewives that she thought Shannon only had a concussion. Shannon apparently had to be rushed into the hospital by Tamra, we also see Shannon crying in a car to Tamra about how Kelly hit her on the head with a mallet. Although we don’t know why Kelly hit Shannon, we can’t wait to find out the reason on the upcoming episode. It doesn't helps matters that Kelly and Shannon were at odds. Kelly's testy relationship with Tamra Judge is to be blamed for that as she herself revealed to People. “Shannon needs to get her a** out of Tamra’s butt and everything would be cool. I don’t have a problem with her but she is so far up Tamra’s butt that now we have a problem? It’s like, I did nothing to Shannon… I did nothing to her,” Kelly insisted.
