Throughout Season 15 of 'Real Housewives of Orange County' fans complained about how new housewife Elizabeth Lyn Vargas seemed boring and fake. Fans had a hard time connecting with the new addition to the cast, as she kept constantly contradicting herself and her storyline kept changing with every episode. Her initial few episodes focus on her messy divorce, which eventually shifted to the housewife's constantly changing story about her relationship with boyfriend Jimmy, and finally, she closed the season by sharing that she grew up in a religious cult.

But Elizabeth dropped the ultimate bomb during the final part of the reunion. When the cast members were discussing homosexuality and their fellow housewife, Braunwyn Windham Burke, being a lesbian, the new housewife chimed in by declaring that she was bisexual. Elizabeth followed up her sudden revelation by adding that she was a "non-practicing bi" though.

Everybody on the stage was left speechless on hearing the new housewife's statement. The host of the reunion Andy Cohen was puzzled and asked the housewife for clarification on what she meant by non-practicing bi. Elizabeth then explained that she finds women attractive, but currently isn't attracted to any women because she's with her boyfriend, Jimmy. She also added that she wasn't always attracted to women, but just felt that they were beautiful.

When fans heard the housewife coming out as bisexual and later explaining that she wasn't a practicing bisexual because of her boyfriend, they too were puzzled. Many fans felt that the housewife was faking her sexuality just to get back on the show for next season. A fan tweeted, "Wtf, Elizabeth “practicing” is BS. She is heterosexual now and when she is “practicing” she is suddenly bi-sexual again. I’m trying to educate myself with LGBTQIA specifics but if you are bi and with a man or a woman you are still bi-sexual right? #rhoc." Another fan wrote, "Elizabeth saying ‘oh I’m Mexican’ ‘Oh I’m Bi’ sounds like she’s auditioning for another season we heard none of this in the show #RHOC." "Elizabeth definitely mentioned being bi for attention #rhoc," commented a fan.

Another fan added, "Elizabeth saying she is BI s total BS. She would do anything for a storyline. I'm surprised she hasn't said she was kidnapped, involved in drug trafficking etc. She is a fame hore #RHOC." Fans also felt that the housewife was just confused and might not really be bisexual. A fan shared, "#RHOC Most of these women are confused on their race and their sex. Its so disturbing. Kelly thinks she is black Elizabeth thinks she is mexican and bi. Brawyn thinks she is a lesbian and is married with 7 kids. idiots all of them." Another fan echoed similar thoughts with, "Wait? Kelly is Black now? Elizabeth is bisexual now? This cast is saying shit to say shit. Problematic as FUCK. All of them need to go. #RHOC."
