Just as fans were beginning to warm up to Braunwyn Windham Burke's struggles against battling her alcoholism, the housewife's latest confession threw them off. On the recently aired episode of 'Real Housewives of Orange County', the housewife admitted to assaulting her husband- Sean Burke, on multiple occasions.

Thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, a lockdown has been imposed in Orange County, and the housewives are stuck in their homes. While its's understandable that being stuck at home with the same people 24x7 can be overwhelming and testing, it was twice as hard for Braunwyn. The housewife reveals that this was the first time since her high school that she's living without a housekeeper, and doing all the household chores herself.

Alongside dealing with her alcoholism, the household chores threw the housewife on the edge. So, she began snapping at everybody around her, especially her husband Sean. While Sean and Braunwyn were driving to a nearby AA meeting, the housewife expresses how it has been very hard for her to get through the lockdown without the meetings, and also her constant urge to chug down some alcohol. When Sean hears his wife complaint he cracks a silly joke about how everybody would be alcoholics by the end of the pandemic.

Braunwyn gets very upset at his joke and snaps at him. Later, in her green room interview, the housewife confesses that she slapped him because she was furious with his joe. She then reveals that it wasn't her first time laying hands on him, and has assaulted him on multiple occasions in the past. She recounts how during their family vacation in Aspen earlier this year, she beat him up in front of one of her kids. She acknowledges that it brought out her dark side that she didn't know existed within her.

When fans saw how abusive Braunwyn really was, they began demanding for her to be fired from the franchise. A fan tweeted, "@Andy having @braunwyn on the show talking about hitting her partner is inexcusable. She needs to be removed from the show. #RHOC." "I know Braunwyn is going through a lot right now, but that doesn’t excuse her behavior...especially physically laying her hands on her husband (multiple times) #RHOC," wrote a fan. Another fan shared, "Is Braunwyn nonchalantly admitting to domestic violence???? #RHOC," commented a surprised fan.
