‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Preview: Dennis tries to appease Porsha's family, but will they forgive him
When Porsha Williams was down in the dumps following Dennis McKinley’s (her fiancé/ baby daddy) infidelity, her mother and sister came through for her. They helped her with her new-born child, provided her the much-needed emotional support and helped her adapt to her new life as a single mother. When Dennis re-proposed to Porsha, and the housewife accepted it, it was only fair that Porsha’s family sat down with him to gauge his intentions and ensure that Porsha wasn’t getting back to the same dark place where she was before, by getting back with Dennis.
The preview for the upcoming episode shows both the families sitting down together to discuss the future of Porsha and Dennis’s relationship. The clip shows Porsha getting ready for the meeting when Dennis casually drops the news of his mother joining the meeting too. The housewife is taken by surprise since she had no knowledge of her joining their discussion, Dennis then proceeds to explain why his mother needs to be present when her mother and sister are a part of the meeting too.
Porsha then makes it clear to Dennis that their issues have an impact on their family. In another sneak peek clip, we see Porsha’s mother and sister expressing their hurt and disappointment in Dennis with the way he treated Porsha when they were together. We hear Porsha’s mother explaining to him how hurt and disappointed she was when she saw her daughter go through the pain caused by him, and slams him for making her daughter “baby mamma”.
We are not shown Dennis’s reaction nor his family’s response to Porsha’s family’s complaints. But we are sure that they wouldn’t have liked it. We also see Porsha’s sister questioning Dennis for his actions and calling him out for being unfaithful.
