Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker share a good relationship, but is it just on paper? The family dynamics between the duo and their four kids — Riley, Kaela, Ace and Blaze — is a tad messed up and they have loads of knots they need to untie before they can actually paint a pretty picture.
Kandi likes the picture of a successful relationship and a happy family; Todd needs her money to thrive. These could very well be wild accusations, but there's enough and more proof that shows it's not what they are making it out to be. She has always been supportive of his choices and has willingly shelled for his multiple businesses and wheels. But it seems Todd might have been taking advantage of her large-heartedness.
Viewers are convinced that there's is a relationship with benefits and that nothing good can come of it given how Todd behaves with his own daughter, Kaela. He has also been called names for misusing her fortune. While one fan agreed with mama Joyce who once called Todd trash, another one wrote: "If I were Kandi, little Tater Todd could not tell me what to do with MY money. And if he had a problem with it I would take away his monthly allowance so he can think about what he's done #rhoa."
Another issue that seems to bother the fans is Kandi's relationship with Kaela. Todd might not be in the best of terms with Kaela, but as a stepmother, she could step up, be her support when she's looking for an emotional crutch to rely on. Kaela is super-rich, has a monster of a house, and yet Kaela lives in it like she's a guest. If only she would have made an effort to welcome her, make her feel included in the family, the scenario would have been different.
"I feel as though Kandi doesn’t really care that much about Kaela. If she’s thinking about her and Todd’s unborn baby girl you would try and at least help Kaela by treating her how she treats Riley even though Kaela’s not her biological daughter #RHOA," a fan expressed.
This isn't the first time this has come up and has been a part of Kandi's life that she has had to explain for a lot of other times. Recently, she explained why it's best to let Todd handle his relationship with Kaela because she is his biological daughter.
"Todd is amazing with [their son] Ace. And I feel like Todd can be hard on Kaela, but because that is his biological daughter. I just step back. And I don’t know if it’s because it’s a girl, but it stresses me because we have a girl on the way, and I do know that you have to treat them differently. You gotta handle them differently," Celebrity Insider quoted Kandi as saying.
It's strange that anyone would put up a show just for the cameras, but the real question is how long can anyone keep up with all the facade?
