Ever wondered what does it take to build a beautiful resort? HGTV's latest show 'Renovation Island' may give you some insight into it. A lovely couple decides to leave their home in Canada and move to a remote tropical island with their family. On the island, the couple decides to revamp an old abandoned hotel into a swanky resort for tourists. The show documents the couple's struggles and wins as they set out on their ambitious plan to not just renovate a room or a house, but an entire hotel.

'Renovation Island' is all set to premiere on Sunday, June 7, at 8pm only on HGTV.

Plot

Bryan and Sarah Baeumler decide to kiss goodbye to their life in Canada and move to a remote tropical island seeking some adventure. As soon as they get to the island, they take up an ambitious project of restoring an old, massive, rundown resort. HGTV describes the show as, "Bryan, a licensed contractor, and Sarah, with her keen sense of design aesthetics, transform the abandoned 10-acre property into a world-class island oasis complete with 18 luxurious hotel rooms, 22 ocean front villas and a host of breezy resort amenities." The couple has several challenges lying ahead of them, ranging from tight budget and a deadline to short staff. "This is the biggest change our family has faced and the largest project we've ever taken on," said Bryan. "What are we risking? Absolutely everything."

The show features the couple, Bryan and Sarah Baeumler. Bryan is a licensed contractor and the host of several shows on HGTV. His wife Sarah, who owns a brand called 'Sarah Delivered', is an interior designer with an eye for aesthetics. The couple has appeared on several HGTV shows together such as 'House of Bryan', ' Bryan Inc' and 'Island of Bryan'.
