ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA: Hosted by Sean Hannity on Fox News, California Governor Gavin Newsom has gone head to head in a debate with GOP candidate and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. The debate included the discussion of issues concerning their own states as well as the country as a whole.

After the two took several brutal jibes at one another, DeSantis had something to showcase during the debate, and it was a map of San Francisco. However, this wasn’t any ordinary map of the city, as it had several plots on it.

The Florida governor then explained that these plots indicated “human feces” found around San Francisco. In response to the map, Newsom laughed.

During the ‘The Great Red vs Blue State Debate’, hosted by Sean Hannity on Fox News, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis held up a map of San Francisco.

DeSantis said, “This is a map of San Francisco. There’s a lot of plots on that. You may be asking, ‘What is that plotting?’ Well, this is an app where they plot the human feces that are found on the streets of San Francisco.”

He then pointed out, “You see how almost the whole thing is covered because that is what has happened in one of the previous greatest cities this country’s ever had.”

“Human feces is now a fact of life, except when a Communist dictator comes to town,” said DeSantis as he continued,  “Then they cleaned up the streets. They lined the streets with Chinese flags. They didn’t put American flags there.”

DeSantis also added, “They cleaned everything up. So they’re willing to do it for a Communist dictator, but they’re not willing to do it for their own people.”

Internet laughs about Ron DeSantis’ remarks on San Francisco

After Ron DeSantis showcased the “human feces” map of San Francisco, to which California Governor Gavin Newsom laughed, the internet couldn't help but laugh along – some at Newsom, and others at DeSantis.

One user wrote, “I love how Gavin grins as if he’s proud of the poop map.” People were also quick to make a meme of Newsom as they labeled him, “Gavin ‘Poop Map’ Newsom,” and placed the map markers on a picture of his face.

“Lmao, he pulled out the poop map,” wrote one user, and another said, “Genuinely one of the best uses of a prop I’ve ever seen, and such an appropriate use of colors.”

“Savage. Absolutely savage,” expressed one, hailing DeSantis, and another wrote, “This is the first part of the debate I'm seeing. Thank you for this Ron DeSantis lol.”
