'Real Housewives of New Jersey': Fans divided over who Dolores should choose — ex-husband Frank or boyfriend David

Dolores Catania has said she will not move in with David unless there's a commitment from his side. Currently, she resides with her ex-husband Frank and their son, Frank Jr

'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star Dolores Catania and boyfriend David Principe seem to be taking it slow. She is still waiting for the ring. David is noncommittal. Frank Catania, the ex-husband, wants the two to start their life together soon. Talk about relationship troubles!

In the latest episode of 'RHONJ', we see how David is being exceptionally rude to Dolores as she comments on his shirt and that it needs to be discarded. And later, he admits to Frank over lunch that he and Dolores are taking it step-by-step and there's no rush.

Dolores and David have been dating for a while now and even today, there seems to be no progress in their relationship, except for that one house that is almost done now. She has been very vocal about her take on the next steps with David. Dolores said she would want a commitment from him before she moves in.

"David knows that I am not moving in that house without a commitment. I love the house. I built it from scratch. I’ve done everything. It is the house of my dreams in every aspect," Inquisitr quoted her from a statement to OK Magazine.

The house is special because she has added her design sense to it, given it a personal touch and has been hoping they would get married before she can step into the house and make it a home.

Unfortunately, David is not on the fast track and is more focussed on his career at the moment than the relationship. However, from his conversation with Frank, it seemed that David and Dolores had a conversation about him prioritizing his job over their relationship.

Meanwhile, fans think this whole uncertainty that clouds their relationship is because Dolores is undecided and needs a man to fall back on every time.

"I truly think Dolores has dependency issues, which is why she can't leave Frank or David. Franks has been paying for the house & keeps her company & unless she has a commitment from David she will never move on and find her independence. She needs a man to fall back on #RHONJ," expressed a fan.

Another thought Frank interfering in the Dolores-David relationship is plain "creepy". "Frank interfering with Dolores and David's relationship gives me the creeps...but, she made it that way.  #RHONJ," a fan tweeted.

So, do we get to see them together anytime soon? We'll have to wait and watch for that. Meanwhile, catch all-new episodes of 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' on Bravo TV every Wednesday 8/7 c.
