Ravi and Taeyeon's love story: GROOVL1N officially confirms dating rumors and fans say they ‘deserve to be happy’

K-pop fans were awestruck when dating rumors of Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and VIXX’s Ravi started doing the rounds. Now, Kim Won-sik aka Ravi — who is the CEO of record label GROOVL1N and a member of the boy band Vixx — has confirmed via his label that the singers are actually together and the couple wishes to have a "good relationship".

The label said, "It's true that they're dating. Please do not make any guesses so they can have a good relationship." On Sunday, December 27, Joy News 24 reported that Taeyeon and Ravi have been dating for a year. According to Joy News 24, the duo was spotted entering Ravi’s house together on Christmas day. At the time, GROOVL1N stated that they are checking with Ravi regarding the report.

Taeyeon’s agency SM Entertainment, however, said otherwise. SM told the news outlet Sports Kyunghyang, “They are only close colleagues who work on music together.” The photos rolled out in the Joy 24 report show the two together on December 25 and it detailed how Ravi visited Taeyeon’s house in Seongsu-dong in Seoul around 10 am and took her to his house in Seolleung in Gangnam.

The 31-year-old whose real name is Kim Tae-yeon has been a member of SM Entertainment's girl group Girls' Generation since 2007 and has won many hearts with her scintillating vocals over the years.

As soon as the news made its way to social media, people started reacting to it as one Internet user said, "I hope Taeyeon and Ravi will be happy together, I wish all the best for them as a couple." Another surprised fan said, "Wait whatttt- Taeyeon and Ravi are dating what the —"

Many made comparisons saying, "They compare Taeyeon and Ravi news with Heechul and Momo news. Hee and Momo denied in rumor part but accepted it when photos gonna be released. but ıf a company denies news with photos then they are telling the truth."

Another one said, "They're probably together but I'd gave Taeyeon so much hate for her last public relationship so I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't want it to be known. anyhoo, I'm happy for Taeyeon and Ravi either way." Another one made fun and wrote, "This Ravi Taeyeon mess is so funny what if she was just hooking up with him and he thought it was serious." One fan said, "tbh I respect what Taeyeon and Ravi wanted... either it's true, or not, or want to keep it secret with denying it cause not all ppl comfortable with public dating not to mention Taeyeon once got a heavy pressure from previous public dating."
