Cardi B previews upcoming single 'Respect' at Atlanta club with husband Offset by her side
The Bardigang has waited a long time for Cardi B to drop her second album, and it seems like the wait might soon be over.
Cardi B recently shared a snippet of the song 'Respect' off her upcoming album, which many thought would be titled 'Tiger Woods'. The rapper stated last year that she was joking when she said that would be the title, though many have taken to calling it that anyway.
After initially dropping a teaser online, Cardi B previewed a minute of her song 'Respect' at the Gold Room club in Atlanta, and club-goers recorded and shared the moment, allowing us all a peek into the song. It sure does sound like one of those club hits she said were missing from the album before.
In the short video Cardi can be seen rapping along to her track as rappers Offset (Cardi's husband) and Quavo can be seen jamming along to the song with her as she tells you to "put some respect on her".
Regardless of what she plans to name the song, Cardi B has been dropping hints and teasers for the upcoming album for a long time now, and fans have been getting restless. Speaking about the album, Cardi said, "I have my cool, calm, and collected songs, just missing a couple of more club hits." She added, "But, we're getting there."
When asked for a release date, however, Cardi said she didn't like committing to dates around releasing music, stating, "I can never put a date on it because, like, when you feel like you've got those songs, that's when it's gonna come out... I can not put a date on my ears."
