Season 1 of Netflix’s fantasy drama series ‘Ragnarok’ blew everyone’s mind with stunning visuals and an engaging storyline. The first season ended with an epic fight between Magne (David Stakston) and Vidar (Gisli Orn Gardarsson). Magne was struck by lightning at the end and appeared to be hurt. However, fans are still wondering if the main protagonist survived the strike or not.

The upcoming season is just around the corner to provide answers to many burning questions. In Season 2, Magne will have to accept that he’s ready for battle. He has many enemies and they are really strong. The conflict gets tougher for him and the choices even more desperate. In the midst of all this, Magne is faced with the fundamental question: How far are you willing to go in order to save your family?

Born on November 22, 1999, David Alexander Sjoholt is a Norwegian actor who started his professional career in the year 2015 with the TV series ‘Skam’. The series turned out to be a massive success for the actor and laid a strong foundation for him. Since last year, Stakston has gained wide prominence after playing the role of Magne, a reincarnation of the thunder-god Thor, in the Netflix series ‘Ragnarok’.

Jonas Strand Gavli as Laurits Seier

Gavli has only been acting on screen since 2014, so he is fairly new to the business. The actor has done several television shows and movies in Norwegian and has gained his footing as an actor. Before he was cast in ‘Ragnarok’, Gavli co-starred in the Netflix movie ’22 July’ about Norway terrorist attack.



 

Apart from being an actor, he is also the co-founder of the production company FargeRadio, which is based in Norway.

Emma Bones as Gry

The Norwegian actress started her professional career in 2018 and appeared on the Norwegian TV show ‘Home Ground’ (Heimebane) where she portrayed the character of Camilla Mikkelsen in 18 episodes. Meanwhile, in 2019, she made an appearance in the short horror movie ‘Satan Barns’.

The actress is highly active on Instagram and has more than 57,000 followers on the image-sharing platform. 

Herman Tommeraas as Fjor

Born on April 2, 1997, Tommeraas started his career as a dancer and then tried his hand at acting. He made his acting debut in 2008 with the short movie ‘Arkitektene’ and appeared on the TV series ‘Stikk’. However, he gained prominence after making an appearance in the hit TV series ‘Skam’. He played the role of Christoferr Schistad in the show and garnered a lot of praise.



 

He has more than 2.4 million followers on Instagram and keeps on treating them with spectacular pictures.

Theresa Frostad Eggesbø as Saxa

The Scandanavian actress made her first on-screen appearance in the Norwegian series ‘Skam’ where she appeared alongside several of her Ragnarok co-stars. Since then, Eggesbø has gone on to star in projects such as ‘The Comet’ (Kometen) and ‘November’ for which she earned the Best Acting prize at the Cinalfama Lisbon International Film Festival.



 

Apart from having an acting career, she also tried her hands at singing. She has released three singles to date.

Benjamin Helstad as Harry

The actor is one of the new cast members to join the show. Helstad is known for portraying the character of Erling in the 2010 movie ‘King of Devil’s Island’ alongside legendary Hollywood actor Stellan Skarsgard. The star was nominated for the Best Actor accolade for the movie at the Amanda Awards in 2011.



 

He has appeared in a series of critically-acclaimed productions on both stage and screen. ‘The Last King’, ‘The Saboteurs’, ‘Grenseland’, ‘One Night’, and ‘Project Z’ are some of the high-end projects he has appeared on.
