Baby Bond! Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig are expecting their first child together
Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig are expecting their first child together after seven years of marriage. The actress excitedly revealed the good news during the promotion of her movie 'Disobedience'.
Speaking to The New York Times, Weisz, 48, was asked to reveal the secret behind her healthy glow. The beaming actress revealed her secret to the interviewer: She was pregnant! "I'll be showing soon," the actress revealed, "Daniel and I are so happy. We’re going to have a little human. We can’t wait to meet him or her. It’s all such a mystery."
The actors have children from their previous relationships. Weisz has an 11-year-old son, Henry, with director Darren Aronofsky, while Craig, has a 25-year-old daughter, Ella, with actress Fiona Loudon.
The two of them are happily married and Rachel loves being 'Mrs. Craig'. In a telling interview with NY Time's Maureen Dowd, Rachel admits to enjoying a cozy lifestyle with her hubby Daniel Craig and is in love with being married to Craig.
"I love being Mrs. Craig. I’m Mrs. Craig on my checkbooks and passports and things. I heard about a movie called 'Mrs. Craig' that I want to watch," the actress said.
The two parents-to-be were previously friends for many years before they decided to take their relationship to the next level. Daniel and Rachel initially met at university. Years later, they worked together in the 2010 movie 'Dream House'. Their love and admiration for each other grew from that point. Soon, Rachel and Daniel decided to tie the knot in 2011, six months after they started dating.
There's no word on when little 007 will arrive, as the actress didn't reveal the baby's due date. But the couple seem to be thrilled at the news, and we cant help but share in their excitement. Sending all our love and luck to the happy parents-to-be!
