Queer Eye returned for Season 5 and fans had been celebrating its return during the Pride Month. The show kicked off with the Fab Five - Antoni Porowski (food and wine specialist), Bobby Berk (interior design), Jonathan Van Ness (grooming), Karamo Brown (culture), and Tan France (fashion) helping gay Pastor Noah Hepler.

Pastor Noah decided to open up the doors of the church for the fab five and welcomed them with open arms. While the cast was happy to be meet him, they were shocked to see the condition of his house and hoped to help him become more confident and outspoken. Pastor Noah revealed his timid and shy behavior stemmed from being in the closet for a long time.

He recalled how he was forced to keep his sexuality a secret and that affected his personality. Noah wanted to feel accepted in society and went to the extent of getting married to please everyone. It so happened that the first person he came out to was his wife. Noah finally gathered the courage to get a divorce and start living his life as an openly gay man but that did not help him be the confident man he would have liked to be.

The Fab Five knew the only way to help Noah was to throw his past out of the window and help him be the leader always desired to be. With their help, Noah was finally able to see himself in a light he had never seen himself before. He felt confident, happy, and eager to be positive about opportunities that come his way.

Fans were quick to fall in love with him and wished to have a pastor like him. "I'm already sobbing. The first episode of season 5 is so powerful! I wished I had a pastor who supports the LGBTQIA+ community/is part of it while growing up," read one comment. Another added, "@noah_hepler just watched your episode of #queereye  if I were to come back to religion at my age it would be to a pastor and church community like your own. Thank you for healing a community of people hurt by teachings that don’t accept them for their beautiful selves."

There is no doubt that the Fab Five helped Noah be the leader and voice of the people. Recently, Noah also participated in the ongoing George Floyd protests. A video shows Noah taking a knee in front of police officers and requesting them to do the same to show they too were against what is happening around the world.

Noah can be heard asking the cops to take a knee along with the people of the community. When the cops decided to not answer him, he was quick to ask them if this was their way of standing against the community who had been peacefully protesting for Floyd. Noah even requested the cops to show some gesture that would be a sign that they are against what has happened to Floyd.

After a lot of questioning, one of the cops decided to speak up and made it clear that they were against what had happened. Despite this, they stated that they will continue to stand. Amid this conversation, another cop revealed they were standing because they were taking a stand against police brutality.

While this answer was not appreciated by the protesters, people who watched the video were quick to praise everyone, including Noah, for taking a stand. It seems like even after the show, Noah has not stopped to make a difference.

'Queer Eye' Season 5 is now streaming on Netflix.
