Putin's 'goddaughter' Ksenia Sobchak celebrates wedding with raunchy striptease prompting in-laws to walk out
Popular television presenter, Ksenia Sobchak, who is often described as Russian President Vladimir Putin's "goddaughter" reportedly married her TV producer fiance in a lavish ceremony in Moscow, where she performed a striptease during the reception.
The 37-year-old from Saint Petersburg was pictured celebrating her wedding ceremony with theatre director, Konstantin Bogomolov, 44, on Friday, September 13. Sobchak reportedly began her nuptials by signing the official documents at the Griboedovsky registry office, before exchanging vows at the Great Ascension Church at Nikitsky gate in Moscow. She reportedly concluded the celebrations with an extravagant party at the Museum of Moscow, one of the oldest museums in the city.
Clips leaked from the party on social media show Sobchak performing a raunchy striptease on stage to the Russian singer Irina Allegrova hit 'Come into Me', crawling on the stage humming along to the "wet dreams" chorus. Reports state that her surprise performance saw her new in-laws, film critics Yuriy Bogomolov and Olga Ulyanovawalk, walking out of the wedding reception before the wedding cake was cut.
Sobchak, during her wedding ceremony, was seen in a veil and second corset-style wedding dress. However, the new bride made a drastic change in her outfit during the reception wearing a daring bustier gown. The social media post, which has now been deleted, showed Sobchak surprising her guests with the erotic show.
Her husband reportedly enjoyed her performance and eventually joined her on stage.
This is Sobchak's second wedding; she was previously married to actor Maksim Vitorgan from 2013 to 2018, with whom he has a son named Platon. Sobchak is dubbed Putin's goddaughter ever since he attended her christening. However, she has been on outspoken against the controversial leader's regime, even standing against him in the 2018 elections and joining protests against the Kremlin leader.
