'Punk'd': Release date, plot, host and all you need to know about the upcoming Quibi show

Quibi is still a bit of a mystery, as the service is yet to be launched. But come April 6, new shows are coming your way, and there's a lot to look forward to.
Among several intriguing shows that are hitting the mobile-video platform like Chrissy Teigen’s 'Chrissy’s Court' and 'Cup Of Joe' with Joe Jonas, you've got the 'Punk'd' reboot as well. Taking over the gig that was once hosted by Ashton Kutcher, Chance the Rapper has been revealed to be the new host.
“'Punk’d' is one of MTV’s most iconic franchises," the rapper had said in an interview to Deadline, earlier this year. "I grew up watching this show and it’s surreal to be in the driver’s seat this time around on Quibi."

'Punk'd' will release on April 6 on Quibi.
Plot
The first 'Punk’d” was a hidden camera reality show which aired for 10 seasons on MTV and was created by Ashton Kutcher, who was also the host. The show pranked and targetted big Hollywood stars. The reboot is expected to make use of augmented reality to make the pranks even bolder than before. Chance the Rapper is the host. The new 'Punk’d' will consist of 20 episodes, each under 10 minutes.
Host
Chance the Rapper, is a noted singer, songwriter, and activist. It was in 2012 when he released his first debut album. His third album in 2016 titled 'Mixtape' got him three Grammy Awards.
Recently, he served as a judge on the Netflix music competition series 'Rhythm + Flow' with 'Cardi B and T.I'. Chance The Rapper has hosted Saturday Night Live twice among his numerous small screen appearances. On October 26 last year, the performer has had the rare SNL distinction of being both host and musical guest with tracks from his 'The Big Day' album.
