Veteran shoots himself in the head on Facebook Live after shooting girlfriend and her 5-year-old son

An army veteran in the US, who was believed to have been suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, took his own life on Facebook Live after he murdered 5-year-old boy Carter and critically injured his 27-year-old girlfriend Di’eisha Patterson on February 1.
33-year-old Jovonie Mcclendon Jr. died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head shortly after he called family and police and told them about what he did and was about to do.
Worried family members called the authorities and informed them that Mcclendon had told them that he had murdered his girlfriend, her son and was about to kill himself. His mother could be heard saying in the recorded conversation: "He just called me a minute ago and said that he loved us and that he killed his girlfriend and her baby."
