'Producer has a fetish?': Fans trash 'Love Island Games' for showing 'nasty' spit swapping challenge
SUVA, FIJI: The 'Love Island' franchise is known for bringing unique games and challenges to the TV screen. But it seems that Peacock's new series 'Love Island Games' is going a step ahead and bringing "nasty" challenges which the viewers disapproved of.
In Episode 5, we saw the network bringing in a literal "spit swap" challenge. The contestants had liquid in their mouths that they had to pass along with a kiss.
The challenge seems to have given ick to a lot of viewers and fans are now slamming the network and producers for showing such a "disgusting" challenge.
One fan took to X and tweeted, "I’m begging the US producers to abolish the eating challenges I gagged like 5 times. If the UK did it why can’t they?"
Another suggested, "Dear producer, don’t ever make this a challenge again. thank you."
One fan wrote, "Why does love island love these spitting food challenges so much man??? which producer has a fetish."
Slamming the streaming platform, a viewer tweeted, "@loveislandusa @peacock y'all need to give it a rest with the literal spit swapping challenge like i will intervene if i see it again next season. #LoveIslandGames."

'Love Island Games': Lisa Celander becomes 'competitive threat'
Fans may not like Lisa Celander, but she seems to be one of the strongest contestants in the show. Imani Ayan was seen calling Lisa a "threat" in the recently released episode.
Lisa won the first challenge in the show. And she was seen succeeding in the second one as well. Thankfully, Lisa was not eliminated from the show and she once again proved to be one of the strongest contestants in the show.
After watching the episode, one viewer claimed, "Lisa is a competitive threat and she doesn’t have any romantic connections. why wouldn’t they all vote for her?"
Another wondered, "WHY ARE Y’ALL VOTING STEPH TO GO HOME WHEN LISA IS Y’ALLS BIGGEST THREAT?????"
