Meghan and Harry seen for first time since Megxit, beaming smiles as they carry own bags off commercial flight
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted together for the first time since 'Megxit' as they stepped off a commercial flight in Canada on Valentine's Day.
As per pictures obtained by Daily Mail, the pair were seen beaming as they carried their own bags after landing in Canada without their infant son, Archie. The couple was flying in from the US and touched down at Victoria International Airport on Friday.
The Duke and Duchess opted to take a commercial flight after being previously slammed for their usage of private jet after preaching about saving the planet. Meghan was also seen wearing an eco-friendly outfit for the flight.
The mother of one was seen in a striped shirt, black cardigan, jeans, and black pumps. She had left her hair loose around her neck and was carrying a bag over her shoulder with a bulky grey sweater tucked into the strap.
Her black pumps which are estimated to cost $125 are from Rothy's, a company that turns recycled bottles into shoes.
Vogue magazine has called the shoes "among the most politically correct shoes on our beleaguered planet." The duffle bag that Meghan carrying comes from Prada's Re-Nylon line which uses a material called Econyl that can be supposedly recycled indefinitely.
Prince Harry, on the other hand, was seen in a casual grey sweater, jeans, and a baseball cap. As a clear sign that they had parted from their royal ways, the couple carried their own cabin bags off the flight.
It was assumed that the couple was returning from the US where they had gone for business meetings given their desire to become financially independent from the royal family.
The pair have been in the US since last week when they made their first public appearance post their shocking announcement to step down as senior working members of the royal family.
