Trump believes Jewish Israelis love him like he is 'King of Israel and second coming of God'

President Donald Trump patted himself on the back by quoting a conservative radio host who said Jewish people love him like he’s "the King of Israel" and "the second coming of God."

"President Trump is the greatest President for Jews and for Israel in the history of the world, not just America, he is the best President for Israel in the history of the world...and the Jewish people in Israel love him like he’s the King of Israel," Trump tweeted quoting Wayne Allyn Root, a radio host with a huge conservative following, The Independent reports.

"They love him like he is the second coming of God...But American Jews don’t know him or like him," he continued.

"They don’t even know what they’re doing or saying anymore. It makes no sense!"

"But that’s OK, if he keeps doing what he’s doing, he’s good for all Jews, Blacks, Gays, everyone. And importantly, he’s good for everyone in America who wants a job," Root added.

Trump himself commented at the end of the quote, saying "Wow!"

Radio host Wayne Allyn Root describes himself as a Jew and an evangelical Christian and has previously sparked controversy after fueling claims that former President Barack Obama was born outside the US.

Furthermore, he once said that Robert Mueller, who led the Trump-Russia investigation, did so after being motivated by "penis envy" against the POTUS.

The development comes after the US leader suggested on Tuesday that the Jews opposing him were "disloyal" to Israel.

The president recently increased his attacks on freshmen Democrats Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar who were disallowed from visiting Israel over their support for the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

“Where has the Democratic Party gone? Where have they gone where they are defending these two people over the state of Israel?" Trump asked reporters at the White House on Tuesday.

“I think any Jewish people that vote for a Democrat, I think it shows either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty.”

The next day, he wrote a follow-up tweet accusing Tlaib of wanting to "cut off aid to Israel."

This came after both Tlaib and Omar suggested Israel should be granted aid only if it ends the apparent "occupation" of the West Bank.

"This is the new face of the Democrat Party? Read the AOC PLUS 3 statements on their hatred of Jews and Israel," Trump said, referring to congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Tlaib, Omar and Ayanna Pressley.

"Check out Rep. Omar (the great people of Minnesota won’t stand for this)."
