Donald Trump tweets video compilation of his dances at rallies before election night, gets branded 'wobbly fridge'
On the night before the much-awaited election 2020, President Donald Trump took to Twitter and shared a compilation video of his dances from the rallies that he had held leading up to the big day.
The POTUS captioned the video "VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!" The video was originally tweeted by the user 4 MORE YEARS - #JoinTheMovement #VoteToday with the caption, "POTUS knows how to close a show! Trump dancing to YMCA" As Trump's patent song for the rallies, by The Village People, was played in the background, he was seen grooving to the beats on stage at different rallies as massive crowds around him cheered. The snippets showed the president swinging his fisted hands from side to side and pumping the air around him while his feet stayed rooted to one spot on the stage. His trademark dance, although has been largely mocked, it has been in high demand from his supporters at the rallies, as well as on social media.
His dance became so popular as he kept doing it in almost all his rallies that it inspired a new TikTok trend dubbed the "Trump Dance" that saw social media users mimic his iconic "YMCA" rally dance moves. The new number that sees users shake a leg to the POTUS's moves is a mix of Viva La Vida by Coldplay and Swing by Savage, and is reportedly being referred to as "Viva La Swing."
The fact that Trump chose to retweet a compilation of his dance moves just a day before election night drew a number of reactions and memes from Twitter users. "You if you continue dancing," one user wrote as the caption to a meme which showed an obese woman slipping and falling on her back as she tried to dance. Another sarcastically tweeted, "If today is the end then THANK YOU, Mr. President. You’ve done a pretty terrible job but the Twitter content alone has made it all worthwhile." A third commented, "He dances like a wobbly fridge..."
Others encouraged the commander-in-chief to catch some sleep before the important day. "Lay off the nose candy and get some sleep already, Cokey McAdderall" one said, while another remarked, "P’DJT really is smart...doesn’t try any spin moves while up on that stage. I don’t remember 44 doing any happy dance moves like this when really YMCA would’ve been more akin to him. Funny how things turn out isn’t it? Pray n’ Vote!"
One exasperated user wrote, "This cannot be real f**king life, please." Someone else opined, "You RTed this, Donald, so you must like it. Do you seriously think this makes you look...what? Cool? Fun? With it? Normal? Nope. It looks like: 1) you learned one move many years ago and that’s it; 2) you do it with an odd grimace, and 3) it emphasizes how teeny your hands are." The next said, "At first, I legit thought that this dance compilation was put together by a parody site. They WANT people to see that awful dancing again?"
Many also claimed that Trump's "VOTE!" meant voting for his Democratic opponent, Joe Biden.
If today is the end then THANK YOU, Mr President.

Nope. It looks like: 1) you learned one move many years ago and that’s it; 2) you do it with an odd grimace; and 3) it emphasizes how teeny your hands are.
