President Donald Trump caught everybody's attention during a Fox News interview with host Sean Hannity on Thursday, October 8, night. On Friday, October 2, Trump announced that he and First Lady Melania Trump have tested positive for Covid-19. After spending a few days at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for testing and treatment, he was released on Monday, October 5. On Thursday, while speaking about "absentee ballots", Trump took a pause to stifle his cough and allegedly hit the mic's mute button and came back to the topic after a few seconds. During the interview, Trump dodged questions about his health condition, but at one point he said, "The test will be tomorrow, the actual test because there's no need to test all the time." He even talked about his upcoming election rally in Florida.

As soon as people noticed Trump's coughy voice, they started talking about his health. One shared the video of the interview and wrote, "Donald Trump coughs while live on Fox News seemingly mutes his mic mid-interview. #COVID19 ( @atrupar)." Podcast host Brian Tyler Cohen wrote, "He literally had to mute the phone so he could cough in the middle of explaining how healthy he is."

Another said, "He does sound sick; also a tad more detached from reality than usual. Those who hailed him as having a 'native political genius' & an 'unerring instinct' for how to run a campaign (2016) just how wrong were you? Canceling the debate is ultimate caving in, just a terrible move." "Well, according to him he feels great. You can't hide when you are out of breath and gasping for breath. In cases of significant inflammation, organs swell and irritate. Despite the administration of drugs(to which society is so eagerly agitated) or steroids,the disease continues," read a tweet.

Commentator Jon Favreau pointed out at Trump and wrote, "Trump is refusing to answer Sean Hannity’s repeated questions about whether he’s been tested for Covid since his diagnosis," and "He finally says *maybe* he’ll be tested tomorrow."

One questioned, "He just said they’re going to test him tomorrow. How can his doctor put out a statement indicating he’s good to resume campaigning by Saturday if he hasn’t even had a negative test?" While another said, "He's definitely got covid. Coughing and clearing his throat. Pence on his way back to DC - most likely he has it too. GO NANCY GO! 25 them out."

And one transcribed where Trump dodged the question and wrote, "Sean Hannity: Have you been tested recently? Trump: Yeah, I just saw the doctors today. Hannity: Did you test negative? Trump: Regeneron. Phenomenal. Phenomenal. China virus. Incredible." Another quipped, "worse than usual" and wrote, "I don’t care if Trump didn’t answer Hannity’s Q on whether he was tested for COVID. I’m more concerned about all the other bat sh*t crazy shit Trump said. He’s clearly worse than usual."

A user wrote, "The fastest recovery from Covid in the history of the Human Race.....or.......Trump never had Covid to begin with....."
