'Power Book II: Ghost' Episode 10: Tariq shoots 'dirty mack' Jabari, fans cheer as professor has a miserable death

If Jabari had minded his own business, he would still be alive. In the finale of 'Power Book II: Ghost', Jabari, who has been suspicious of Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr) and his murky dealings with the Tejada family, interrogates him and then gets shot. Fans aren't really shedding too many tears over it, considering that they couldn't have cared less about him in the beginning itself, and always found his sexual endeavors an unecessary digression from the actual storyline. Jabari has been following Tariq and trying to piece information together about him. He tells Tariq what he knows, and even lets him know that he wants to write a book on him.
And that's how you end up dead. Tariq becomes his father in the finale of 'Power Book II: Ghost', and kills Jabari.

It was an exciting finale for 'Power Book II: Ghost', as Tommy Egan returned with full swag and almost pulled the gun on Monet and Tasha, but Tariq saved them both. Tariq has established himself as Tejada blood and has earned Cain's respect by killing Jabari. It remains to be seen what happens in the second season of the show.
'Power Book II: Ghost' airs on StarZ on Sundays at 8 pm.
