A video shows a group of police officers attacking a protester and it was reported that the incident took place during the Bristol Protests. This protest had taken place in response to a proposed bill that was expected to give police more power to deal with nonviolent protesters and citizens deemed that this was hindering their right to protest in a democratic nation.

The video shared by Apex World News was captioned, "BRISTOL PROTESTS: Police physically confronted a photographer." In the video, a group of officers gathered around a protester and used their shields and bare hands to attack a man. At this time, a police dog that was on a harness and held by a cop, strained against the harness to pull one of the cops off of the attacker. It was revealed that the person being attacked here in the video is a photographer.

One user wrote, "Police out of control because they know Priti Patel condones this violence. What is worse is that they're about to get more powers. Horrifying that this can happen to a journalist doing his job in this country."

Many also seemed to question the claim that the victim was a photographer. The reason they are suspicious is because of the skateboard that he used. One person asked, "Why would an accredited photographer take a skateboard with him on an assignment?" Another responded, "to move quickly between incidents that should be captured on film fkin easy question that... next?" Another also stressed and said, "A very good photographer .... if he does it on a skateboard!"
