Police arrest and charge convicted felon on parole for gunning down a young dad while he was camping with his daughters
Authorities in California have finally made a breakthrough in the mysterious murder of 35-year-old scientist Tristan Beaudette. Beaudette was fatally shot in the early hours of June 22 this past year while sleeping next to his two daughters in a tent while they were camping at the Malibu Creek State Park, and the motive behind the killing remained unknown. However, police announced they have now charged 42-year-old convicted felon and parolee Anthony Rauda in the case.
According to a press release by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, Rauda was charged with one count of murder, 10 counts of attempted murder, and five counts of second-degree burglary. Two of the attempted murder charges are related to Beaudette's daughters while the others stem from previous indiscretions committed by the 42-year-old.
