A shocking video was recently uploaded on Twitter and which shows a small cheerleader in California viciously punching another girl who had challenged her to a fight.

The footage, which was posted to the social media site on September 8, shows Savannah Sprague, a cheerleader for the Clayton Valley Charter High School, Concord, engaged in a graphic confrontation with an unidentified girl, who had provoked her to a fight as she sat at a table.

The two girls were surrounded by other teens during the whole incident. The 92-second footage shows the unidentified girl threatening Sprague, saying: "Do you want to fight?"

The cheerleader, who seemed calm at the beginning, told the girl: "No, nobody wants to fight. You guys want to fight us. Nobody speaks on you guys, nobody talks about you guys." She then tells the other girl, who had been standing over her in an intimidating fashion, to get her finger out of her face. Everybody there could see as the tension escalated and were waiting with bated breath to see what would happen, the New York Post reported.

The unidentified girl seems to get ticked off by Sprague's comment to move her finger away from the cheerleader's face and tells her: "What are you going to do? Are you going to make me get back?" Sprague then replies to this threat by saying: "Don’t f–king touch me." The unidentified girl makes the biggest mistake of her life when, only a few seconds later, she slaps the cheerleader across the face in front of the shocked onlookers.

At this point in time, Sprague loses her cool and lashes out at the girl in a flurry of blows and soon has the upper hand in the altercation. At one point, Sprague is even seen straddling her adversary and punching her with violent and closed-fisted blows to her face.

One person can be heard saying off-camera: "Break it up, break that s–t up." The girls can then be seen dusting themselves off and composing themselves. Other students who were witnesses to the incident could be heard reacting in a wild fashion to the fist-fight taking place including one teen who spoke to the camera and said that he loved "watching rumbles".

Officials at the Clayton Valley Charter High School, which is the home of the Ugly Eagles team, have not released a statement about the incident as of yet.
