Pink slams 'disgusting' trolls who commented on her two-year-old son's genitals
When Pink posted a seemingly innocent photo of her children and herself trying to play with a pelican, little did she know that the image would lead to so much negativity for her. It seems her followers, instead of noticing the nice family holiday and the innocence at the moment, chose to concentrate on her little son's genitals.
The picture on her social media account initially showed her son swimming in a nappy but she was clearly offended when her followers had the audacity to analyze whether or not she had circumcised her son.
Angered by their response, Pink slammed the cruel and vile trolls who commented on her two-year-old son Jameson's penis and called them "f***ing disgusting." The 39-year-old singer was left absolutely horrified at the nature of the comments.
In the original picture, Pink had posted, her son, Jameson and her seven-year-old daughter Willow were seen trying to play with a pelican. Pink is seen sporting a pair of sunglasses, a white sundress, and a pair of gold hoop earrings. Her son Jameson's private area was visible. Pink shared the image along with the caption, "Our new pet pelican. We named him Pelle."
However, a couple of hours later she deleted the original picture and then reposted it along with a black scribble which censored Jameson's genitals. Alongside the second post, she wrote, "There's something seriously wrong with a lot of you out there. Going off about my baby’s penis? About circumcision??? Are you for real? As any normal mother at the beach, I didn’t even notice he took off his swim diaper."
"I deleted it because you’re all f***ing disgusting. And now I’m turning off my comments and shaking my head at the state of social media and keyboard warriors, and the negativity that you bring to other people’s lives," she continued. "There is something seriously wrong with a lot of you out there. Smfh. Here's a picture of the pelican we obviously caught and abused for hours before dangling baby penis in its face," she added.
Many of the commenters had pointed out that her son was not wearing a diaper and that she had 'mutilated' her son by circumcising him. The comments were mostly related to her son's genitals.
Finding their favorite singer in distress, Pink's fans rushed to her support on social media, one fan shared, "I saw your message on Instagram. I saw the original photo before the updated one. I didn’t even notice your son wasn’t wearing pants. I avoid comments because of stupid people. You have two beautiful kids and are a wonderful mother to them. F*** people." While another fan added, "I hope you are ok and pleeease forget about the negative comments, people are terrible but you are not, you are an amazing human being and I love you!"
