Singer Pink has been very vocal about her political opinions and political stance. The 40-year-old took to Twitter to share a video on Wednesday, June 3, where she opened up on her thoughts on the upcoming presidential election.

In the video, Pink shared, "How can anyone call themself a patriot or American if you reelect a president that doesn't govern, respect, or represent half of our country? That's not America. That's your America," she said.

"That's not America. So you either worship the Confederate flag, which is not our flag, and it never will be, or you're a hypocrite that doesn't actually understand the meaning of patriotism or what it means to be an American," she continued. While concluding the video with a shrug, the singer said, "Truth". Pink's video received mixed responses. One Twitter user shared, "Trump should buy an island; his supporters should follow him! This world has no more room for hate! Unbelievable!"

Another added, "Thank you Pink. Our country must vote the sick monster out," while a third commented, saying, "Thank you for using your platform for good, you truly are an inspiration!" However, some were not onboard with Pink's comments and let it be known.

One such user wrote, "I love America and I’m voting for Trump. And you can judge me all you want and tell me what you think I am. I won’t do the same to you. Being American means being able to have an opinion." Another such user shared, "blah, blah, blah, where is the we don't like celebrities anymore button?"

Recently, Pink took to Instagram to express her outrage over the death of 46-year-old George Floyd. She has been open and bold for her support of the Black Lives Matter movement. She reposted a powerful message from 'Bad Guy' singer Billie Eilish who slammed the 'All Lives Matter' countermovement.

Eilish's post read, "I have an enormous platform and I try really hard to be respectful and take time to think through what I say and how I say it. But holy f—ing s—, I'm just gonna start talking. If I hear one more white person say 'aLL liVeS maTtEr' one more f—ing time, I'm gonna lose my f—ing mind."

"Will you shut the f— up? No one is saying your life is not hard. No one is saying literally anything at all about you. All you mfs do is find a way to make everything about yourself. This is not about you. Stop making everything about you. You are not in need. You are not in danger," the 'Ocean Eyes' singer shared.

Once Pink had shared the excerpt from Eilish's speech, she began to receive some negative comments from online trolls, whom she shut down with ease. One such social media user had written, "Totally get where you’re coming from. HOWEVER, as a person with a lawyer brain, I have to say… when you single out one race and say ‘that’ race matters. You ARE implicitly saying other races don’t matter as much. It is automatically inferred."

"I believe it does this situation a disjustice [sic] by putting it in the #blacklivesmatter category. This could happen to ANY ONE OF US! THAT is the atrocity! THAT is the REAL issue. It is not about race," the comment continued. Pink was quick to shut it down and responded, "You are the epitome of white privilege and the saddest part is that you don’t even hear yourself and probably never will."
