LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: A Las Vegas man suspected of killing his girlfriend and then hiring a hitman to eliminate witnesses has revealed the whereabouts of his partner's body to authorities. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the attorney for Philip Mathew O'Reilly, 37, told reporters after the hearing on Wednesday (April 19) that he had disclosed the location of the 34-year-old Cheryl Beardall's body as per an agreement to avoid the death penalty.
O'Reilly sensationally tried to hire a hitman for $20,000 (£16,000) to kill witnesses, including two of his girlfriend's children, after he killed Cheryl with a dog leash and his bare hands. She was the mother of three children. According to the newspaper, the attorney did not reveal the exact site of the body, but it was handed to the police and Cheryl's family. The newspaper added: "In order to fulfill the terms of that negotiation, he had to disclose the location of the body."
