Bryson DeChambeau is an absolute legend. And his insane body transformation while on break has been the topic of discussion. On August 6, he caused another uproar on Twitter when he swung so hard at the PGA Championships that he actually ended up breaking his driver. However, the mishap was sorted out with the golf rule book coming straight to his rescue. By then, Twitterati was having its share of taking digs at DeChambeau.

"pgachamp The way Bryson has been abusing his driver the last few months it was only a matter of time before his driver was like," wrote one of the fans.

Here's one from a fan who had a tough time figuring out where to place DeChambeau. "Trying to think of the correct cross-sport comp for Bryson — trying to game his way with brute power and no other skill — aesthetically horrid to watch — overhyped on a short run of form — hasn’t really won anything — huge uncool dork — MAGA guy (answer: it’s john Isner)," he wrote.

And a piece of advice: "Hey Bryson, it’s not how you drive it’s how you arrive. Spraying your driver 50 yards left or right at 360 yards is not helping you. #fairways"

One of the fans felt it was a circus whenever DeChambeau was involved. "Bryson does it again. Every single time this guy steps on a golf course it’s a circus and I love it," the tweet read. "

According to Golf, there is a certain rule that reads: "You must use a club that conforms to the requirements in the Equipment Rules. If your conforming club is damaged during your round or while play is stopped, you may continue to make strokes with the damaged club for the rest of the round, or have your club repaired by restoring it as nearly as possible to its condition before the damage happened." Titled 4.1a, this rule turned out to be a lifesaver for DeCahambeau.

That though didn't seem to deter him as he usually carries with him a bunch of spare drivers. Not that it saved him from the trolls nonetheless.

What are your thoughts on the broken driver?
