Selena Gomez, who had one of the best years in terms of music in 2020, had scored three nominations at the 46th edition of People’s Choice Awards held on Sunday, November 15, but failed to take home even a single award and this did not go well with her loyal fans.

The 28-year-old American crooner was nominated for the Best Music Video for her song ‘Ice Cream’ with all-girl K-pop supergroup Blackpink, as well as the Social Media Celebrity award and Best Soundtrack Song for her single ‘Rare’. However, the pop star being snubbed again pissed off her fans as they stormed Twitter to rant about the award show even calling it “rigged.” One user stated, “These award shows are soo fixed they gives their awards to their favorite, doesn’t matter who got more votes @PCAs using Selena for clout.” One fan said, “i’m so tired of these award shows snubbing her over and over again.” Another added, “selena being forget in the #PCAs like always, are we surprised?” One individual asserted, “Totally rigged. We were voting like Crazy! I knew it was gonna be between Selena and Britney. And now they announce via website Ariana won. That's so fishy. WE WERE ROBBED #BritneyIsTheSocialCelebrity of 2020 #PCAs #FreeBritney”
