People's Choice Awards 2019: Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston's friendship has fans raving about duo
E!s People's Choice Awards 2019 went on in full swing and while fans and viewers criticized the award show for the absurd winners, they couldn't help but rave about Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler's friendship calling it #friendshipgoals.
This year seems to be Jennifer Aniston's year as the actress was finally recognized as an icon. People's Choice Awards honored her with the People's Icon award of 2019. Prior to accepting her award, the actress received a heartfelt introduction from famed actor Adam Sandler who is her friend and co-star in the recently released movie 'Murder Mystery.'
In his introduction, Adam recalls how the two of them met and showered her with praise. Accepting her award from Adam, Jennifer was emotional and questioned him wondering when did he get so mushy.
Raving about Adam, Jennifer said, "I love this man with all of my heart. This is one of the kindest human beings you'll ever meet. Aside from being one of the most talented, and generous and stunning", she ends her speech midway cracking a joke that she cannot go on and on about him because this isn't his icon award, but maybe next time.
Their friendship goes way back to 90's and they even acted in their first movie together in 2011 that was titled 'Just Go With It.' Post Adam's Introduction and Jennifer's acceptance speech where she also sends her love to her iconic F.R.I.E.N.D.S cast members, fans took to Twitter to rave about the duo's friendship, calling it friendship goals.
