Spoilers for ‘Pennyworth’ Season 2 Episode 8

One of the biggest mysteries in the series ‘Pennyworth’ has finally been solved. Martha Kane (Emma Paetz) has told Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge) that she is pregnant. With that, it has also been revealed that Thomas is indeed the father of the child. Thomas is taken by surprise by the recent revelation and doesn’t know how to react.

At first, he is irritated with Martha thinking about going into the war while being pregnant. Thomas says that she should have taken rest because this kind of stress can be really dangerous for her and the child. Is Martha pregnant with a baby boy or a baby girl?

Martha gives bombshell news that she is pregnant with a “baby boy.” The gender of the baby was told to Martha by none other than Patricia Wayne, sister of Thomas Wayne. She was also the first one to know about Martha’s pregnancy.

Thomas presents an idea of getting married as soon as possible. However, Martha doesn’t want to get married and leaves her apartment.

The entire scene makes us feel bad about Thomas. As a responsible, he wanted to give his name to the child by marrying Martha. However, Martha is still trying to figure out the entire scenario and thinking if she wants to get married at all.

Are we going to see the first glimpses of baby Bruce Wayne?

The pregnancy of Martha has created a lot of curiosity in the minds of the viewers. In comics, we have seen that the couple shared only one child together and it was Bruce Wayne, who went on to become Batman. So, if he sticks to comics, then we might see a glimpse of baby Bruce in the future. However, it is virtually impossible for the fans to get a glimpse of the baby because there are only two episodes remaining in the ongoing season.

The final two episodes will be filled with exciting moments and new discoveries as Pennyworth along with his team will do anything to save London from the Raven Union and Stormcloud.

‘Pennyworth’ returns on EPIX with a new episode on Monday at 9 pm ET.
