As Roald Dahl said, those who don't believe in magic will never find it. Magic-lovers, 'Penn & Teller: Fool Us' is back with its seventh season and is determined to show you that magic exists.  ‘Penn & Teller: Fool Us’ is a competition that tests the magical skills of people, where they craft careful tricks in front of the magician-comedian duo, Penn Fraser Jillette and Raymond Joseph Teller. After the act, if the duo is 'fooled' and they don't know how the trick is done,  the magician will win an extravagant trip or may get to perform as the opening act on Penn & Teller’s world-famous show as well as at the Rio Hotel and Casino.

It's a tough battle, as Penn and Teller are highly gifted magicians themselves and are the masters of illusion, themselves. However, in this episode, they were fooled thrice, by Helen Coghlan, an escapist artist.

'Past' magic

Ondrej Pšenicka, who had appeared on the show earlier, returned hoping to fool Penn and Teller, three times in a row. Well, he didn't, but he managed to get them twice. He got host Alyson Hannigan to hand over a card to one of the guests. The card that was revealed, was the same one he had predicted in an old episode from years ago. He tried another card trick with Penn and Teller, making them pick a card, that was exactly the same one he had predicted years ago. Penn and Teller were able to figure this trick out but were still undoubtedly impressed by Ondrej.

Correct predictions

Paul Gertner made Penn pick a number between 1 and 52. Penn picked 47. Teller was asked to pick a card from the pack. Paul then wrote something on a piece of paper, sticking it into Penn's pen. After much shuffling around and conversation, he asked Penn to look at the piece of paper. Lo and behold, he had managed to predict that Penn would pick the number 47 and that Teller would pick a Jack of Spades. While the trick was undoubtedly impressive, Penn and Teller still figured out the trick.

 Shawn Farquhar's book and cards

Another mastermind of delusion and trickery. Shawn Farquahar, who had appeared on this show before, could make a torn piece of paper from a book appear in a card pack, while making a confused Alyson Hannigan hold the pack of cards. However, Penn and Teller got to the bottom of his trick too.

'Penn & Teller: Fool Us' airs on CW, Mondays at 9 pm.
